The importance of drinking water

Water is essential for everyday life. We can survive a week without food, but only a day without water. Our body is made up of 60% water and we need to always replenish ourselves to sustain life and bodily functions. Other than human beings, animals and plants need water too. Water is a basic, essential item that is needed in every form of life. The earth holds 70% of water that is a mix of both fresh and salt water which contain living creatures, another example of life. We need to take into more consideration into the fact that water is more important than it is taken. Many states are running low on water and have been issuing water laws to try to control it. Some states have had it and they have been prepared for a long time. Converting salt water into clean water is a very tedious and expensive product, but if we spend the time to conserve our water then we would not have this problem.
